- I'm a nobody, get me out of here!
I happened to catch a little of the UK reality TV show on Friday night, "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here," Whch for overseas visitors, is where 12 celebrities are taken to the Australian Outback, seprated from all their loved ones, with no contact apart from the odd letter, limited food, and, sleeping out in the jungle in the sparsest of condition, no proper bathroom fasciliities, and put thruogh gruelling endurance tests, to win the food for the camp on which they surive for the day. - It's my party and I'll die if I want to
Did you see that story in the news a few days ago, about a teenager who committed suicide on the web? And most folks had some gory interest in him doing so and watched him do the act? A few tried to talk him out of it, yet the majority were more interested in fulfilling their lusts by watching him kill himself, than by trying to offer him a hand. We live in a very cruel, uncaring world and soceity I think. For me that extends to people who you wouldnt think would be. A few Christians prayed for this guy and tried to talk him out of it, even though he was a complete stranger. (…)

- Louis Walsh, Off, Off, OFF!
I don't think I saw the first or maybe even the second series of the X-factor, the series I tuned into first, was the first time I had set eyes on Simon Cowel, and be still my beating heart, here was a man who calls it as it, and in that respect, a man after my own heart! (…)
- My Quest
To dream the impossible dream To fight the unbeatable foe To bear with unbearable sorrow To run where the brave dare not go To right the unrightable wrong To love pure and chaste from afar To try when your arms are too weary To reach the unreachable star This is my quest To follow that star No matter how hopeless No matter how far To fight for the right Without question or pause To be willing to march into Hell For a heavenly cause And I know if I'll only be true To this glorious quest That my heart will lie peaceful and calm When I'm laid to my rest And the world will be better for this That one man, scorned and covered with scars Still strove with his last ounce of courage To reach the unreachable star Lyrics from
Lord please give me strength to finish this what feels at times, impossible journey, the impossible dream, and the unreachable be reachable in your strength. (…)
